Straight answers about how the practice works, what it costs and how Dr. Laeeq approaches peptides and longevity care.
General practice
Dr. Laeeq Ahmed Butt, M.D., MBA, is a board-certified internal medicine physician who also practices peptide and longevity medicine. He leads Laeeq M.D., a physician-led concierge practice based at 7777 Leesburg Pike in Falls Church, Virginia.
Visits are long, physician-led and unhurried. Your first evaluation is 60 minutes with Dr. Laeeq himself, and every plan is built from your history, medications and lab data rather than a 15-minute symptom check.
Dr. Laeeq sees patients in person in Falls Church, VA, and virtually in Virginia, Maryland, Florida, Texas, California, Pennsylvania and Tennessee. You must be physically located in one of these states at the time of a virtual visit.
Monday through Friday, 10 AM to 2 PM, for both virtual and in-person appointments. Messages sent through the patient portal are answered within business days.
Many patients use Dr. Laeeq as their internist. Others keep their existing primary care physician and use the practice for in-depth evaluations, second opinions, lab interpretation and longevity planning. Either works.
Internal medicine
Internal medicine is the specialty focused on the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of adult disease. Internists are trained to manage complex, overlapping conditions — blood pressure, cholesterol, diabetes, thyroid disorders, medications — across the whole body.
Common reasons patients come in include fatigue, weight changes, high blood pressure, cholesterol, prediabetes and diabetes, thyroid issues, poor sleep, medication reviews, abnormal lab results, preventive screening and long-standing symptoms that have not been explained.
Yes. A comprehensive medication review — checking interactions, duplications, doses and whether each medication is still needed — is one of the most valuable parts of a first visit.
Yes. Dr. Laeeq orders labs based on your history and goals. Lab fees are billed separately by the laboratory, and cash-pay pricing is often available.
Peptide & longevity medicine
It is a proactive approach that aims to extend healthspan — the years you live in good health. It combines internal medicine foundations (labs, cardiovascular and metabolic risk, sleep, training, nutrition) with carefully selected therapies, including peptides where the evidence and your situation support it.
Some are. Semaglutide, tirzepatide, tesamorelin and bremelanotide (PT-141) are FDA-approved for specific conditions. Many peptides discussed online, such as BPC-157 and TB-500, are not FDA-approved and have mostly animal data. FDA compounding rules for several peptides changed during 2026 and remain under review. Dr. Laeeq explains the status and evidence for anything discussed.
Not automatically. The first step is a full medical evaluation and labs. Many patients improve substantially from foundational changes alone. Peptide options are discussed only when they are appropriate, legal and supported well enough to justify the risk.
Dosing depends on your health history, labs and medications. To avoid encouraging self-treatment, dosing references and compound pricing are available to established patients in the secure portal after evaluation.
When a compounded preparation is appropriate and permitted, prescriptions are sent only to licensed, reputable pharmacies. Dr. Laeeq does not recommend research-grade or "not for human use" products.
Virtual visits
Yes. Virtual visits are available for patients located in Virginia, Maryland, Florida, Texas, California, Pennsylvania and Tennessee, using a secure video platform.
For most consultations, yes — history, medication review, lab interpretation and planning translate very well to video. If a physical examination is needed, Dr. Laeeq will recommend an in-person visit or coordinate with a local clinician.
A private space, a device with camera and microphone, a stable internet connection, a list of your medications and any recent lab results uploaded to the portal beforehand.
