About
Board-certified internist, longevity physician and U.S. Army veteran — practicing the kind of medicine he would want for his own family.

Founder & physician, Laeeq M.D. · Falls Church, Virginia
Dr. Laeeq Ahmed Butt is a board-certified internal medicine physician whose career has spanned hospital medicine, intensive care, skilled nursing, telemedicine and outpatient practice. He has served as a medical director and chief of medicine, leading clinical teams and setting standards of care.
Before medicine, he served six years with the U.S. Army and Department of Defense as a linguist, translator and analyst, reaching the rank of Staff Sergeant (E-6) before an honorable discharge. That discipline — and a habit of reading the details others skim — shapes how he practices.
He founded Laeeq M.D. after seeing how often adults were rushed through 15-minute visits while risk factors quietly accumulated. The practice is deliberately small and physician-led: long first visits, careful lab interpretation, honest conversations about evidence and plans that look ten years ahead.
His clinical interests include metabolic health and obesity medicine, hormones and endocrinology, medication management and peptide therapeutics. He also co-founded Mintlife Health in Falls Church and holds medical licenses in multiple states; Laeeq M.D. currently serves patients in Virginia, Maryland, Florida, Texas, California, Pennsylvania and Tennessee.
“The best time to address your health is before something goes wrong. My practice is for people who believe they deserve better than the 15-minute appointment.”

Philosophy
Every optimization starts with a complete medical evaluation. Underlying conditions are found and treated first.
Proven therapies and emerging science are kept clearly apart — including saying “we don’t know yet.”
No two patients are alike. Plans follow your labs, history and goals, and change as they do.
No research-grade products, no shortcuts, and a willingness to say no when the risk isn’t worth it.
